Using Technology For Good

Interested in using computer science for social good? Come join us! Work on projects with real world impact. Students of all backgrounds are welcome to apply. Students will work on small teams of 4 to 5 students to implement high-impact projects for partner organizations.

Fall 2017-18
2 units
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 12:30 - 1:20 pm.

All projects have their own specific recommended prerequisites. Students are required to submit an application to enroll in the class. In the application, you will rank your project choices and describe your technical and social experience(s).

The application opens on August 20th and closes on September 10th at 11:59PM PST.

The class is taught by Anika Raghuvanshi, Cherry Zou, Grace Hong, John Reinstra, Karan Singhal, Kevin Khieu, Rui Aguiar, Thomas Liu, and Thomas Clavelli.
